Hey all,
Selling the sprinter to make way for a new VW Bora - here it is:
http://www.geocities.com/maximumgravity/index.html
1983 Sprinter Coupe AE86
Light/Aqua Metallic Blue Colour (Was resprayed in early 90's-very nice paint job)
15" Gold Simmons Rims
Silver Top 4AGE 20V Engine (Installed with 55K, has travelled 90K since -->145K all up) - 120Kw rated
Custom Stainless Steel Headers off Alstonville 2-ltr champion race car
Full straight through 2" stainless steel exhaust
HKS Pod Air Filter
Lightened Flywheel
Standard Suspension
Moulded fibreglass subwoofer box for left-boot corner if wanted (can be removed)
Notes:
Exterior is in exellent condition - one small dent under wheel arch. Some interior panels are missing - boot area has no panels due to existing stereo (but can be put back, i still have them).
Driver side door trim was broken during break-in (i can find a new one, or leave it if racing is the purpose).
Dash has a few cracks due to sun
Otherwise the interior is in excellent condition - very well looked after by all owners.
Asking $5500

Some panels are still being sourced - so I didnt want to take photos of the car shell (ie door and stereo surround).
the car has done 360,000 kms.
engine installed at 270,000 with 55,000 on it at the time.
total on engine - 145,000.
if i can get the parts soon (i have found them) then i'll take a few more pictures and post them up.

Yeah - i'm still driving it around until I find a crappy runabout this weekend hopefully, then I hand it over to the buyer.
It's been a good little trooper for the past five years....i know i'm going to miss it once its gone.
The next project will have to be even nicer then...

AMAZING!! Custom Plenum Chamber, you've got the distributor on the front!! You must be running OEM ECU!! Is it just me? I never seen one in Australia! Who have done the conversion?? How much would the front distributor conversion cost??!?!

you still using the AFM too, so you must really be running OEM, if only mine's running OEM, then it'll be idling at 750rpm!

Yeah - Factory ECU is running.
I'd like to claim credit, but Alstonville Auto Wreckers in Alstonville, NSW did the full conversion. They saw it as nothing special - they know their stuff. The conversion and all custom bits were done in a week - the car and conversion have been bullet proof since.
All i've ever had to do was get a new fuel filter in 4 years. Pretty tidy work. The distributor was relocated to stop the nee to cut throught the firewall to get the distributor to fit.

yeah, amazing, where did they source the bits? And how much they charge you? Because usually the front distributor conversion kit is only available in Japan for a HUGE sum, or did they do their custom work and made a new cam wheel or something?
