Boost Limiting?

Is there an easy way to disable boost on 1j's???
For those mechanic reatards and i've read too many horror stories.
I just thought it might be possible cos she wont seem to boost when in neutral, only in drive. (Though I might just not be giving it enough stick in neutral) Any help here?
I can't seem to get my head around why it wouldn't boost in neutral, but i understand why it might not be possible to stop boost....

It almost impossible to get boost while in nuetral with a factory setup. If you put a anti-lag system on it you can then get boost while sitting there in nuetral but there are alot of side affects and I advise against it especially with the 1JZ turbos reputation.
When the engine is free revving the amount of exhaust flow isn't enough to get the compressor to spin up enough to get a positive boost reading.

Generation of boost is also dependent on load...
Keeping the car in neutral and giving the accelerator a squirt isn't likely to produce much (if any) boost at all.
However, putting the car in drive, holding the brakes and then pressing the accelerator will give you boost, as the engine is working against the brakes.

this is correct.
despite what one of my slightly sillier friends tried to convince me of (unsuccessfully), fuel consumption (and therefore exhaust volume) is related to load, not revs.
at 6000rpm in neutral, there's still almost no load there.
hoofing it up a hill at 100 in 3rd creates a LOT of load, hence lots of boost

i would say your friend has never seen the throttle valve on an unloaded engine. last time i checked, even when the engine was at 6000, the valve was still almost closed. yet when fully loaded, the valve was wide open. call me crazy, but to me that proves that fuel consumption is related to load and not revs.
you dont need much pressure in the cylinders to overcome the internal friction of the bearings. therefore you dont need the fuel or the airflow

I know, my argument was much the same (tho it being 3 years ago, I was less technical about it).
