toymods... famous!!!

bought the latest autosalon (rice) magazine....
it looked good for laughs... it had a section on "which category do you fit into"... riceboy, rice indo boy, poor boy etc
in one of the categories, there was a white ae82 twinky with a toymods sticker on the back!!! 
it looked like damon dupriez's car.... was he a club member?

if so, i met him at auto salon brissie in '01 (i think it was)
we had an IASCA sound-off down stairs (under auto salon) and they needed someone to judge the top competitors cars from the auto salon... and as all the other judges where judging, and i wasnt, i go to do it..
Damon Dupriez showed me the cars i had to judge..
i got to sit in Osman's WRX, RBABY, REXTEC, and all these other wild cars...
it was a real blast, all these spectators looking at me while i was talking to the owners about their stereo and then sitting in the car to listen to it...

well, they are not my type of car. but just getting to sit in them and judge their stereo's (which were deffinately not built for sound qaulity) was prity wild at the time...
RBABY, yeah was a bit scary......

 yeah, i have heard the the RBABY owner is a knob... he used to hang with the hyundai hyper club and acted like the typical d1ckhead modified car enthusaist.... thinkin' he could outrun anyone in his car.... drove wrecklessly.... and talked shit all day long
oh well, u get all sorts in any crowd... except in toymods, right??

well if anyone can supply me with a decent toymods banner - ill Try to get it on TV for the Formula 1 grand prix
A group of us victorian forum members are meeting up there raceday - so hopefully we'll take over a stand and get the banners flying !

2. HEY! I talk *shit* like a pro.. even got an award for it. "Best Bench Racer 1994" from my sportbike Nats meet.
3. I outrun anyone and drive liek an ass. Actually it's more like I *will not* back down. Gets kinda scary for ppl in the shotgun seat, but I'll push the MA47 that last 3M further than YOU just to win..hehe
4. I'm in the midst of writing up an article on the new Toyota F1 effort for my Tuner mag, do a lil research, come up with a Team Contact, tell them yer Club'll be there, and the Toy team might just be REAL nice to y'all!
5. Serious audio *does* have the ability to make you physically ill. (even stop hearts in extreme cases!)
6. I seem to have verbal diarheea...lol.
7. Nark - I lost the store had Hot4's...

I was the same freak... never backed down, ever.
the fact my car was slow didn't worry me... never raced anyone who could beat me around corner.
but.. well a 1jz-gte gave me a new perspective on what dangerous is.. so have to drive carefully until I get to know it properly
