hi all, im new here...
getting to it, i own a project ae86 sprinter, and a daily driven sr20det 180sx....
anyhow, with my sprinter, i want to put in a 4agze....
now what i need to know is how hard the conversion actually is....
and my other query is about rear brake/axle/LSD..... i havent been able to source a japsec rear diff setup item.... so i was wondering if there were any alternatives that wont cost me the world...
for instance, would i be able to use a hilux rear diff with LSD and disc brake setup????
anything helpful would be much appreciated.... thanks in advance.

do what the master EVOSTi does. suspension, brakes then BIG MODA but seriously handling first then brakes they gotta be done first your car will be much quicker with these first two steps.
as for diff id go for hilux with disc conversion as you know its gonna take the punishment of the gze where as im not too sure of jap spec diff. but if your driving the car hard enough to brake stock diffs youll be breaking stock box's too so do the supra 5speed upgrade while your at it.

yeah w50, w58 whatever. and yes you will need a custom tailshaft when replacing either diff or gearbox with one of these items. this is why i say do them both at once that way you will only need one tailshaft to be made up.

Much as it sounds obvious, its buggered me up and cost me heaps already: DO IT ONCE DO IT RIGHT! If you 'think' you 'might' need a stronger diff, box or clutch, save up put it all in and have it done first up - cheaper than going back over it later!
