Going to the park 2night in the beast. Will stop for a bit at Yatala BP at about 9ish. Arrive at BWCP @ 10ish.
If anyone wants to see my car, 2nights the night, as it will be out of action to get the clutch/flywheel/box and EFI installed soon. Ohh, and tyres-i'm a bit worried going down there with baldish tyres, but ohh well.

There's a cruze on this Friday(23rd) at midnight. If anyone is interested, it's in the northern suburbs area, meeting on the corner of Grimshaw St and Watsonia Rd at Wash 'n' Vac, in Greensborough.
4's, 6's, 8's, and rotors welcome. If there is a big turn-out it will be a regular event......so everyone get down there!

If anyone is interested, this saturday and sunday (7-8 sept) there is a historic race car meet on at Eastern Creek. They usually get heaps of cars there (pre 1972 stuff) and they really get into the racing. Tickets are $20 at the gate and racing is from 9-5.

Hey All,
Ive organised a cruise for people of Toowoomba (Qld) to cruise down to Jamboree and then to Gold Coast at night.. If you're from Toowoomba or the surrounding area feel free to come along. If you know someone from this area make sure to tell them! I have around 10 definates so far.. details are..
- Arrive Chalk Drive Carpark 7.20ish
- LEAVE Chalk Drive Carpark (opposite Chalk Drive Skate Park) at 7:30AM SHARP
- Stop at Gatton McDonalds for people to top up fuel, grab some
breakfast and so people can catch up.
- Leave Gatton McDonalds about 8:30am and continue to Willowbank complex and go in and everyone park near each other.
- Organise time to meet back at cars after Jamboree (probably around 8pm) and then cruise down to the Gold Coast for some more action.

passing along these details for any gt4's in melbourne...
Just putting the call out to all GT4 owners to come and get together at Albert Park on the 19th of October.
The details are as follows:
When: Saturday, 19th October from 10:00.
Where: Albert Road Drive, Albert Park, Melways Ref 2K F5 (same place as usual)
What: BYO everything for a BBQ lunch – and any sporting equipment you would usually bring to a picnic (footballs etc etc)
Why: It has been a while and we should all just catch up & see what we have all done to our cars since we last met.
Who: All GT4 owners and their families in Melbourne (other states are welcome but we wont hold it against you if you can’t make it ;-p)

I need a place to take my girl in brissy for valentines day. I very rarely go into town so i dont know anywhere thats nice to eat.
I just want a place that has nice food, preferably being a restaurant, waitors/waitresses(not a must), not pricey(but not too scungy) and somewhere that has a good all round atmosphere!
Its gotta be in the brissy area, and before you say Maccas or MR KFC, no!
I want somewhere 'special'.
I'm not really a person who makes such off topic threads on the forums...but i'm in need of help, and you peoples always seem to be there for me...so if you have any ideas, plz give me a yell.

me and a friend are leaving canberra to stay at the metropolitan hotel in brisbane for the fast four and rotary jamboree, problem is, the guy who kindly gave us a lift from the train-station at wacol last year can't do it this year.We can catch a train from brisbane to whichever station will be easiest for whoever will be kind enough to take us the last little bit. Something for you inner city forum/Toymods members and the westies who arent afraid to leave their comfort zone. 
Last Sunday afternoon I went to Fox studios and by accident stumbled accross a Jag exhibition. Was a pleasant surprise.
September is Car Month with prestigeous car display days every Sunday from 10am on the Showring.
Daimler Car Show - August 31
Rolls-Royce Car Show - September 7
Jaguar Car Show - September 14
Corvettes at Fox Car Show - September 21
Z-Car Show - September 28
I'll definiately be checking out the remaining two (and best) shows, it's all free too.

I am making it offical.
Sunday the 12th of October
The Toymods SA Meeting will be at my place.
(PM me or E-mail me for my address)unless to many people turn up.We will discuss the constitution I have ready.The Meeting starts at 1 pm & will finish roughly 2pm.
After the meeting,we will have a BBQ.
The we will have a Cruise.We will meet in the Lockleys carpark(corner of Tapleys Hills Rd & Henley Beach Rd).We will meet out the back of the carpark.
The Cruise starts/leaves at 2-30pm.Who know's when it will finish.I still need to get a route sorted out,so all suggestions appreciated.
Hopefully this will be a long cruise,so make sure you have a full tank of fuel.
Also,this a "TOYOTA ONLY" Cruise,the only exceptions being that your Toy is having work done to it etc & can't be driven etc.
Also,If people can invite their friend's who own Toy's then the more the better.
also,I will need people to distribute flyers,so whoever can distribute flyers,E-mail me & I will let you know when to pick the flyers.

Just letting anyone around the Northern Beaches (or anywhere else) that there is gonna be a bit of a cruise on. All cars welcome (except those which dont know what a speed limit is). The third AU Starlet Club Queensland cruise has now been finalised for Satuday 6th December 2003.
This cruise is having a photographer from Fast Fours coming along for photos of cars from the club and a group photo for an article on the club in an upcoming Fast Fours magazine, so be certain to get your car looking good for the day, so dont miss this opportunity to get your starlet into a magazine! Refer to the thread on here titled "Fast Fours article feature article cars" if you want to get your car in the featured rides for the club.
The final details for destinations and meeting are still to be finalised (in next week or so) however for those needing to prepare already for the cruise to arrange times with their work etc. the cruise will start on the Southside of Brisbane off the M1 and will be meeting around 1pm (most likely later but just saying 1pm to be safe so everyone can organise their day).
The cruise will leave the meeting destination and head south along the M1 and then turn off and head up Tamborine Mountain where we will stop for a while. We will then cruise back down the mountain and back onto the M1 and head towards the final destination of Broadwater Car Park at the Gold Coast in the early night and from then on those who want to stay down the coast to cruise the night can go somewhere for some food and then head back to Broadwater Carpark in a group later in the night.
I aim to have the final times and destinations and approx travelling times up soon here.
For the cruise we will be using channel 27 on the uhfs for those who have one.
Ill also start up a definate list on those who are coming, so please reply or email me at lee@toowoombacarforum.com to confirm. Other models of cars are able to come along if they want but just keep in mind the photography for the magazine will be for starlets only. Although confirmation isnt necessary, it will be good to get a list of those who are coming. If need to call me about the cruise, and for those who want my number to put in their phone for on the day to tell me if their going to be late etc. my number is 0438 981907.

Its open 2 allll cars! just cruizn up 2 palmbeach... got a few supras, skylines and rotars coming... and a few other mobils!!!

I was just wondering if anyone else from toymods will be going? It's for a good cause and all that, and you'll be able to make donations. It's looking like it's going to be pretty damn huge. I think it even has it's own website:

I know that the cliosport, skylines, silvia and holden clubs will be there in attendance, and I think that's just the tip of the iceberg. They've set up three separate meeting points around Sydney to give you an idea of the size of the thing.

Western Sydney Internation Dragway is holding Drag Combat http://www.autosalon.org/dc.asp tomorrow for those that don't know it runs from 10am - 10pm, I'll be there with DiZ and MaNGeW and whoever else wants to meet up with us. We'll be meeting at the Hungry Jack's on the corner of Cumberland Highway and Cabramatta Rd at 10:30 tomorrow morning. This Hungry Jack's is where everyone hangs out waiting for the Liverpool runs for those who are unfamiliar with the area. Just look for a lowered red AE92 hatch with mafia tint and you will see me.
