Dragway Rally Tonight Friday 17/9/04 Fri, 17 September 2004 01:09 Go to next message
Just info for anyone who has not heard, a Politician or two will be in Braddon tonight at 8pm at the area where City Exhaust is located apparently to talk about the possibility of a dragway in the future etc(pre-election promotion stuff).

Sounds like a few people will be turning up and some neat cars should be out.

I am going to pop out and have a look-see, add to the numbers and show support etc.

I will see anyone there who turns up, I will be in the green rolla as per usual Very Happy .

Cheers.

State Events Only - Final Warning Tue, 09 November 2004 23:43 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Guys I'm sure you've seen in the rest of the forum that the behaviour of some posters in the interstate forums has lead to those forums being purged. I am reposting the warning from those forums here to make sure everybody knows the situation.

Quote:

Guys and Gals,

These state specific sections of the forums are for LOCAL EVENTS ONLY. Any other threads have appropriate sections in the main part of the forum.

Continued mis-use of these state based sections will result in the removal of these subsections altogether.

If you choose not to respect the moderators, choose not to use the forums !

Thankyou.

The board appologises to those of you who have been using these sections for there intended purpose. It will be a shame if the actions of few ruin it for the rest.

CCG Weekend Trip to Moruya - 15 & 16 January 2005 Tue, 11 January 2005 02:24 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Our CCG Yearly Calendar has had us going for a weekend down the South Coast for months now and we are still planning on going this weekend. However, our TOYMODS brethren had asked us to support their Dynoday in Sydney. So we are now offering two choices for this weekend.

Option 1 - Trip to Moruya 15/16 January 2005- Riverbreeze Caravan Park, Princes Hwy, Moruya NSW 2537. (Caravan Park is on RHS just before the Moruya bridge)
Phone: (02) 4474 2370 Fax: (02) 4474 4651 Email: info@riverbreeze.com.au www.riverbreeze.com.au CALL SHARON AT THE CARAVAN PARK TO MAKE YOUR OWN ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS.
- Cabin prices range due to the holiday season. Good value if you have say 4 sharing a Cabin. (We stayed in the cabins last time and they’re excellent value). Camp sites are also available for only $20 too.
- Of course, you can stay overnight or instead just come for a day trip and catch up on either the Sat or Sunday.
- Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear as we will have little comp to see who can actually catch a fish instead of just bragging about doing it!
- Leave Queanbeyan Maccas at 8.30am on Saturday morning.
Many CCGians have shown interest in both events so we have left it up to individuals to choose which event (or maybe both!) they wish to attend. Phil and I are going to Moruya so those that are keen for a bludgy WE on the coast we will see you at Q Maccas on the 15th. Those going to the TOYMODS Dynoday, please make your arrangements via the TOYMODS website and/or between yourselves.

DONT FORGET THAT ALL TOYOTA FANS ARE WELCOME!
Have a great weekend!
Cheers

Option 2 - Trip to TOYMODS Dynoday, Sydney – 16th January 2005
- Silverwater Automotive Services (SAS), Corner of Silverwater Road and Fariola Street in Silverwater, Sydney
- If anyone gets lost they can call Rod Try (President of TOYMODS and Manager of SAS) for directions on 0416 181 284.
- If just spectating then we suggest you leave Gateway Shell Servo at 8am to arrive approx. 11am. However, if you wish to compete you should leave even earlier to ensure get there early enough to book yourself a place in the order.

CCGians

CCG BEER OCLOCK - 7pm Tuesday 23 August 2005 - Ainslie Footy Club.

You are warmly invited to come along for our infamous toyota chatfest and the odd beverage next Tuesday night. And yes it is on the NORTHSIDE of town for all those that keep bagging Phil and I for the previous Beer O'Clocks on the southside (Canberra is sooo small)!

Hey…if anyone can bring their laptops to the Beer O’Clock I can bring some CDS with pics of our Wakefield Park ‘no speed limit’ day!

Also a reminder for the coast cruise to meet up with TOYMODS on 11 September.

All welcome. Hope to catch up on the 23rd then.
Cheers
Mitch & Phil

Dyno Day- Saturday 17 December Wed, 23 November 2005 19:55 Go to previous message
There is a change of time to Saturday @ 12pm. Is anyone interested in coming along to represent the Toyota boys?
Hi Guys,

Autotech Services, Pro Engines and Integra Automotive are putting on a Christmas BBQ and dyno day on Saturday December 17 at Autotech Services, 11 Collie St Fyshwick.

The dyno part will be in the morning while it's still cool followed by a BBQ and a few drinks. The cost will be $40 per car or a small donation per person. We are planning on donating money raised to Wildcare, a registered charity that rescues, rehabilitates and releases injured and orphaned Australian native animals.

We will provide a BBQ lunch and a few drinks (BYO hard stuff).

Anyone who's interested please post up here or give me a call on 62995211 so we can get an idea of numbers.

Anyone is welcome to come along, this isn't club specific!

Cheers,

Greg.
