Hello, I'm from the U.S. and I have a '73 Celica RA21 with the 18RC. I was thinking of swapping in the 1G-GTE and have a few questions about it...
-Will the 1G use the same motor mounts as the 18RC? -Will there be a lot of fabricating or will the 1G-GTE just drop in there nicely? -For the tranny I plan to make it auto. Do I use the the auto tranny from the 7M-GTE or 2JZ-GTE? -Will I be able to use the current driveshaft for this conversion or do I need to get a particular one? -How upgradable is the 1G-GTE? In other words, how is the aftermaket for it?
