Ok... first, sorry, this doesnt have anything to do with Toyotas, but i couldnt think of a better place to ask about this problem.
This is the head off a Lancia 2L (a friends car im helping with). About 5000kms ago, it was rebuilt after blowing the head-gasket. Im not exactly sure what was done in the rebuild. Now its running as if the head-gasket has been blown again... not really rough, but enough to take it off the road.
These pics are of the head, the second it came out of the engine bay. It hasnt been wiped down at all or cleaned in any way. The wet oil on the head is there because we pumped some into the cyls before removing the head, as it hasnt been run in a long time.
Now... im writing all this because i want to ask of your opinions on the condition of the head in these photos. I guess the main question is, does it look like it had a rebuild 5000kms ago? Note the layers of carbon on the valves, and the green/white crud in the coolant runs.

The other pics are: http://www.overclockers.com.au/~mwp/temp/lancia/MV C-006F.JPG http://www.overclockers.com.au/~mwp/temp/lancia/MV C-007F.JPG
Thanks.
