Rims not fitting. Tue, 01 April 2003 07:13 Go to previous message
Hey guys. Just wondering... With VACC regulations and such. I have a set of 15 inch rims that don't fit on my car. I know its illegal to put in spacers. What options do i have to whack these in. At the moment the problem is that i don't want to go under 195/50 as a front tyre. And the front tyres rub on my strutts. After a 5mm spacer and nuts are screwed in 3 turns.

I have come to the conclusion of these 2 options.

1) Putting landcruiser studs in my hub which give me that extra 1cm or so. and putting 7mm spacers and wallah??? Illegal? Trouble changing my tyres? Trouble with Cops? Trouble elsewhere?

2) A place near my joint mentioned hub extentions. Does any of you guys know what they are??/ Where they can be done? Or how much they should cost? Pros? Cons? such as handling and/or reverting back to my original stud setup.

3) Open to all options.

Pleaseeee HELP!

If anyone does recon its not worth for these set of rims.. I'll post pictures of the rims in 48 hours.
