Im putting a new engine in my offroad buggy to replace the datsun motor currently in there. The eventual plan is to go to 20V with Motec when the money is available. The immediate plan is to go with a 4AG and stock computer. Upgrade to motec, then to 20V.
Question is: are the bolt patterns for 4AGE and 20V the same? are bolt patterns for the cranks the same? Bolt patterns for exhaust? That way I can use the 4AGE as a spare and not waste money on new extractors, adaptor plate etc when I move to the 20V.
Anything else I should know about the differences? Engine mounts? oil pickups? sump depths? any info appreciated.
