thefastj Regular Location: Melbourne Registered: January 2003	1UZ conversion update + questions Wed, 23 April 2003 13:14 okay, my 1uz is out of the half-cut!! you beauty!! we went about it by disconnecting every single plug that went to the engine and gearbox (boy it was a b*tch of a job!) and we finally got it out tonight! some questions... 1. do all 1uz's have the exact same engine mounts from each different model car they came in?? mine is out of a Crown and the engine mounts sit at about 45 degree angles...do any of them (maybe Soarer) just face straight up/down?? 2. the whole intake manifold is off, as well as the fuel rail and injectors and that stuff. while these are off is there anything i should do to it apart from just clean it up a little? 3. if i was to attempt the wiring myself...where the hell do i start now?!? 4. i need pics of a Soarer sump from a 1uz. i need to know exactly where the bump is... cheers, Aaron.
