Does anyone on the forum know how to decode early toyota chassis numbers (pre 1980)Its for a 1978 corolla ke55 built by australian motor industries. I need to know a production date so i can get the number plate changed to one thats correct for the year of manufacture. the UK toyota dealers i've spoken dont want to know cuz its an import
