ok, just checking the interest in this... drift guide? Mon, 05 May 2003 07:52 Go to previous message
Ive talked to a few guys before, and i want to see how much interest is in for this before i push it any further...

Who would be interested in making "The ultimate guide to drifting" ???

Im talking about a guide to drifting, so as to limit the number of people out there who arent doing it properly, giving detailed epxlainations from multiple points of view, different setups, techniques, everything, with different styles and points of view. We want to make a complete guide to it all, with details like pictures or videos to show the techniques we are using and how to do it correctly, what could cause it to go wrong, how to avoid problems, EVERYTHING.

the idea was to make the most detailed guide to drifting concepts online to date..

I have some backing from outside Toymods too, but i want to see what sort of interest there is around in here too.. especially local interest.

Please reply only if you are interested, or you have something that you would like to see in the guide when we have it out.

The plan for the guide is to introduce a basic guide, and then add to it and build it up to the final product over time.

Let me know guys, i would like to see this happen, especially as one of my mates is in hospital because of some guy who thought he knew drifting back to front, tried to tandem drift with my mate, and went into the side of his car because he couldnt control it... i want to make sure that people understand how it is done, how to make sure it comes off, how to counter a mistake, how to SPOT the mistake, and so on.

This is a serious proposal, so please only post if you are interested in helping or would like to see something in the guide that you think we havent thought to include. Or you can PM me if you want to ask me something about it before you go to add you name on .. or whatever.

Thanks
Peace guys
Katsuchiyo
