DIY repairs...for a non-DIYer? Tue, 06 May 2003 05:40 Go to previous message
Hmmm...I'm told I need a new (reco'd) steering rack in the KE70 and thought that, while there, it would be a good idea to change out the struts for some better ones I happen to have lying around. (Obviously followed by a wheel alignment!)

So, how hard is this to do, and what tools etc am I likely to need? (Given that I have few! Razz )

If I can get an idea of what's needed first up, then I can decide whether to:
A) attempt it myself "as is"
B) procure the appropriate tools and then attempt it or,
C) (last resort) take it to a $$mechanic$$)
