I don't want to reinvent the wheel and have found thorough research before you start pays off BIG TIME. I have given up on the RA28/1UZ idea and am going to go for a MA61 project. I have sourced a VERY nice, Aust delivered, stock, auto MA61 that will hopefully be sold to me in the next few weeks. Does the manual conversion present any traps for young players? I did a W55 into my auto RA28 and assume the Supra would be a similar affair? This car is in such damn good condition I can't go past it - despite the auto trans. I was going to go with the Dellow bell housing to mate the 1UZ (with aftermarket ECU) to the 5spd but need to know if the 1UZ will fit. A mate had a 302 MA61 some time ago so I know those big old school donks fit in there! Any info about any other aspects of this project would be MUCH appreciated.
