Hey all, i was out today mucking around with my ems and data logging some runs. Anyway, as i launched it, heard a clunk from the engine bay, dipped the clutch immediately and the engine died. I rolled down the hill and home and my first thoughts were the gearbox again, or the axle again but they seem fine. The problem is, the engine doenst not want to idle, i can turn it right up and it will bounce up and down like there is air in the cooling system, but there isnt, it will rev but coughs a bit when ya hold it at a certain RPM, and blows black smoke which it didnt b4 cause id fixed up all the timing maps and leaned it out a bit. Im thinking it could be the timing belt has slipped a tooth or something. Where should the 2 marks on the cam gears point on the 4agze at TDC?
