does anyone know if the cold start injector is only supposed to squirt when the engine is cranking or does it also squirt during normal cold running?
as I understand it the cold start injector is wired up so as to only receive power when the starter is cranking. as soon as the motor is running and not receiving the crank signal the cold start injector stops squirting.
and the thermo time switch is only there to limit how long the injector can run (for eg it stops injecting fuel after about 8sec of cranking). - to prevent flooding and plug fouling
