The front engine mount on my SX is knackered and needs replacing. I was just wondering if anyone can give any tips on getting this job done.
I was just planning on putting the car up on jack stands and supporting the engine by putting a jack under the sump with a block of wood to spread the load. After that just unbolting and replacing it etc.
Any flaws with this method?
Oh, and does anyone know how much a genuine toyota mount should cost? knowing toyota I'll have to part with an arm and a leg to get one.
