why do i keep breaking suspension bits

i keep breaking suspension bits in Mr DOHC,
firstly, the car has always axletramped, back in the days of 18RC power,
then came the other cam, i put in some other shox and it did jack all.
the other week i got under the car and the RHR shock had fallen out of the top holder, luckily i hadn't thrown out the other shox, so i jammed one of those back in,
now today i got under and the LHR shock had snapped in half, so i now have 3 shocks.
what can be causing this, i know the leafs are weak, will resetting those and new shox do or may it also be the old, hard tyres
