Thu, 21 August 2003 02:33 Hello again, have a question on the above, Cressida GX60 converted to 1G-GTE 3rd gen. About 2-3 days ago noticed that the fuel consumption has doubled and i'm getting worried. Here's what's been done. Stock Engine - Intercooler stock, BOV , Lightened Flywheel, Stock boost, no electronic extras i.e. SAFC Boost controller etc. Things i've noticed - SOMETIMES puff of white smoke when i start,othertimes ok. There's are a a few more sockest and wires that need to be connected (3-4 maybe). And when i try to floor it..SOMETIMES..feels like there's fuel starvation occuring..struggles then the boost comes on..LAG then WRoooom.. Even in normal SUNDAY drivers condition...still seems pretty high ?...Could a leak in the piping/intercooler be the cause.. OH also my exhaust is 3 inch all the way..with a 3inch muffler at the end.
