fuel additives? Sat, 23 August 2003 04:05 Go to previous message
a friend told me that the increased fuel consumption i'm noticing in my 97 starlet is probably due to dirty injectors, and that makes sense, because we've looked at everything else it could be...

because getting them properly cleaned is pretty expensive, a few people have suggested i get a petrol injector cleaner fuel additive (eg the nulon or wynns ones)

what's the deal with these fuel additives? do they actually work or will they destroy my engine? Smile

if they cost $100, i'd wager that they DO work, but for $10 a bottle.... i don't know... any clues?
