Skinnypoo Occasional Poster Location: Tasmania Registered: June 2003	loss of power - Whats wrong Wed, 27 August 2003 22:49 Hi, Driving to work this morning everything is fine and my car is running fine (st-162) then I come over a crest about 5 mins into the journey and the car sorta jerks so I go to accelerate and nothing happens and the revs drop very quickley im going about 90 at this stage....so I drop back into 4th and boot it the revs quickly drop form about 3700 to about 1000....clutch goes in and I try and rev it, but the same thing happens.....so I pull over on to the side of the road and the car stalls.....then I start it back up and it is fine no hassels for the rest of the way to work (20mins) What the hell is wrong with my car....I have just put a Pod filter on and fixed the alternator brushes and regulator (my battery is very weak thou) and replaced the fuel pump.
