18RG using 22RE EFI Wiring and ECU Fri, 29 August 2003 03:53 Go to previous message
reading through all the threads on this has just confused me.

I am currently using an 18RC points dizzy and standard coil and ballast resistor for carbies, but for EFI...
Can I just wire up the computer to the -ve side of the coil to get the pulse signal for injectors or do I need to get the Ignitor and coil off the RA65? If I get the coil and ignitor do I then also have to run the 22RE dizzy or can I still use the points dizzy?

Do I also need all the vacuum switches that go to the plenum on the 22RE or are they just extra weight for optimum efficiency?

Cheers
