Hi everyone! This is my first post and I have been visiting this site now for about 2 weeks. I love it! I couldn't believe how many people out there share our excitement and passion for the humble Toyota. Most people yawn when you talk about Toyota, but obviously not all of us and I was pleasently surprised to find this site. My first car was a Mustard coloured 1976 Corona. The poor thing had very little of its 3 speed auto left when I traded it in for my '88 Camry CSX Sedan. It was a great car. It was Plum red in colour, dark tinted windows and the loudest Pioneer Stereo System in town. I still miss that car. I then went to the dark side and bought an EF Falcon Wagon and I am still regreting it. It has cost me more in repairs alone than my original Corona cost including the purchase price! Now I am getting excited about Toyota's again! After looking at Camry after Camry in all the local car yards, I finaly settled on a 1989 MX83 Cressida. It cost me $8,000, not much more than the Camry's and it has everything! Rear wheel Drive too which I now prefer. So now I am looking at popping a 1jz-gte engine in and this site and related sites have helped me sooooo much. Now all I have to do is save that 5 grand or so to it!
