Hi guys,
Well it hasn't rained for quite a while now.......but yesterday it rained , and my car being in the staff carpark on the roof at work got a little wet, unfortunately on the inside aswell. There was a small-medium sized puddle on the floor just near the accel. pedel, thought it was a window seal, but after driving along and feeling a drip on my foot(coming from under the dash) I realised it wasn't a window seal. Basically just near the bottom right of my windscreen some of the rubber on the outside has perished a small amount(like 1-2cm's worth) but when the windscreen wipers are on you can watch the water sit there in a puddle and then vanish(drip drip on ur leg), so the question at the end of this whole story is what can I use to seal this tiny leak(the rest of the windscreen is fine, actually looks like it was resealed lately), I know I could just use clear silicone, but I've seen a black sealant used on the tailgates of MA61's and RA60's who are prone to leaks around the back windscreen. So whats the best sealant to use?
Thanks guys
