hey guys, I've been quoted $1500 to install the EFI 2TG into my celica. It consists of $1000 for physical install, EVERYTHING involved, which I believe includes the fuel pump and stuff throttle linkage stuff. The other $500 is for the wiring loom preperation. So I drop my car off and they supply the engine and kit ($1500) pay them $1500 and drive away with the car.
So what I'm asking is does this seem reasonable. For me it seems a bit high $1000 for install, this is an engine that Bolts straight IN, so how come it costs so much??? And as for the $500 to wire up the ECU how COME ? as far as I know its just a join the dots that should take A day or two for an amateur. Ppl prolly say I should just do it myself and stop winging, But I don't have the time. So what I am posting for is HELP.
Is anyone experienced and wanting to do it for me? (will pay of course)
Does anyone know someone that will be interested in performing it for me?
Anyone know where to get it done cheaper ?
