Puffy Regular Registered: May 2002	manifold adapter plates Sat, 08 November 2003 10:48 Hi Everyone, I have a GT series turbine that I want to put on my Gen III 3SGTE. I wanted to use the standard manifold and use an adapter plate to bolt it on. Instead of having an adapter plate that bolts on to the manifold and then the turbo I wanted to weld it to the manifold and bolt it to the turbo. I am unsure if it is possible to weld cast iron?
