RA60 20-R to 22-R conversion questions Mon, 19 January 2004 07:38 Go to previous message
Hi Guys

I'm just about to take delivery of a RA60 Celica, auto with a 20-R engine.

This engine is tired and in need of rebuilding, while I'm waiting to save up to do that (or upgrade to a better engine) I've been give a 22-R manual from a 93 hilux.

I'm wondering if the engine will bolt straight in, are the engine mounts the same and what things to expect not to fit properly??

also I want to stay with the automatic transmission so i don't know if there are going to be any incompatibilites there.

Any help or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Phil
