To save some money on my 3TG conversion (could be some time off yet), I will just buy a 3T crank, and grind the block to clear the con-rods. I have seen the result of this once before. Is there any disadvantage? Any reason to go for a 3T block? Grinding is no problem for me, as its probably less work since I won't have to change the dummy cam bearings.
