Testing impedance of spark plug leads Thu, 22 January 2004 21:18 Go to previous message
Apparently, it should be about 4000 ohm per foot?

Is this correct? If so, how do I use the digital multimeter to test them? I switched it over to the impedance section, used the 200m? i think it was and unplugged the lead and stuck the meter on it. It came out at 15.9 or something. This was on the longest lead. So I thought 15.9 x 200 = 3180.

The shortest lead was about 1300. Is this bad or good? Am I doing it correctly!? Razz

Thanks fellahs ! Very Happy
