Sat, 24 January 2004 02:07 As of yesterday, the JZX130 is now officially registered and fully legal! It has taken me approximately 11 months to get it this faras the car started as just a shell with an engine in it. I am so happy that all my hard work has paid off. Unfortunately, i was driving along this morning and i could hear a metal against metal noise coming from the rear. I had a look and one of the bolts holding the caliper on had fallen out? So I got another one in there and all is good now. Also, i had to readjust my handbrake because it wasn't tight enough and now the bracket that connects the cable is touching the tailshaft when i drive up steep hills or just give it a bit Will hopefully work that out today. Also, have to put new bonnet pins in as these stupid lock ones are already stuffed. Had them about 2 months! Also, it is running on 5 cylinders for the time being but i have checked everything except pulling the injectors out and the head off. So it has to be one of these and most likely because of the engine sitting around for a while. SO i will be driving sedately and running it in and hopefully they will sort themselves out, otherwise i will starting pulling it apart in a couple of weeks.
