Mon, 26 January 2004 03:50 Hi, In my 5 cylinder 1jz-gte I have narrowed the issue down to no fuel or no air. I will be checking the injector this arvo and I was told one way of checking to see if the inlet valves are opening. I was told to get a piece of wire with a small right angle at the end of it, place it in the spark plug hole facing the inlet side and turn the harmonic balancer around until it gets to the inlet stage and i should be able to feel the valve pushing the wire down slightly. Does this sound like a good idea? Any other ways besides pulling the head off? thanks Chris [Report message to a moderator]
