MREMIL Regular Location: Melbourne Registered: May 2002	mk3 supra + 1JZ-GTE conversion! (no more 2JZ) Fri, 09 August 2002 09:10 EDIT... forget the old idea of puttin a 2JZ in a mk3... Ive spoken to a few ppl about it and think ill stick to a 1JZ conversion. But... will it make much difference if i get a pre 88mdl mk3 and put the 1jz in there (itll be a full manual jza70 front cut). Ive heard that the engine mounts / crossmembers are different? Any other bits in pieces? Any other info you guys have would be helpful... thanx --And as u said norbie, the cost/effort of the 2JZ conversion wont be worth it, when a 1jz with the amount saved in $$$ spent on mods, will blitz a 2jz anyways.
