keeping rust at bay while my car in stored Sun, 07 March 2004 01:35 Go to previous message
As some of you may know, ive bought my second soarer to do the conversion on. got it home today, had more rust than i suspected but mostly surface and the major rust is just in the boot but all easy to fix
wondering what i should do to keep it at bay for the next couple of months
Has surface in sunroof, fuel cap place, under rear quarter window.. and boot seal..
some of the major rust i mightnt be able to do unless i just angle grind it and cover it?
so I was wondering what i could do
get rid of all the visible rust by angle grinder(with wire bush blade) or sand paper depending on the area... then rust kill and then just primer?.. or what about that fisholene stuff?

thanks
