I have ended up with a 1/2 built GEN 1 3SGTE turbo engine as part of a deal. It has Weisco low compression forged ceramic topped pistons with new rings, new special H beam conrods with race spec bolts & bearings, nitrided steel crank, uprated oil pump, baffled sump etc etc. If I strip, clean and finish off the engine with either a Gen 1 or Gen 2 rebuilt head, it will be around $4500 excluding turbo--any interest or do i just strip it and sell the bits??? . Nothing on this engine is cheap, so no $10 bargain hunters please. would suit a serious MR2 or GT4.
