Injector wiring problem

i have found that my no 2 injector is not firing as a result of a wiring problem. im just wondering if anyone knows as to why there is a #10 and #20 injector bank and why all injectors dont run together off the same pulse.
The reason being, if i cant find the prob, can i just hardwire the injector off another injector?\
this is off an early Toyota EFI system (2TGEU)
