Driveshaft worries Thu, 22 April 2004 14:00 Go to previous message
As some of you may, or may not know, I've had to push my motor and gbox forward an inch to clear the xmember.

This has resulted is the driveshaft losing 1" grip on the tranny output shaft.

Now, assuming that stock it has about 3.5" of grip, then it now has probably 2-2.5" of grip.

Is this dangerous?

I do plan to get it lengthened, but I just had the shaft rebuilt before I realised I needed to motor to move forward, so spending more money on this driveshaft would probably make it the most expensive in the world.

Thoughts plz the powers that be.
