2TG cams? Sun, 25 August 2002 13:07 Go to previous message
OK, I will do some searches and try to find out myself. But I have decided to go ahead with some big camshafts for my 2TG, sometime very soon. This is for a daily driver, but your only young once and I don't mind a bit of shitty city drivability if it means I can drag off a commodore ever now and again. Right now its not even worth trying.

Anyway, I think its rally cams I want. Someone said 290 degrees, but others say 304 degrees alot. I want the best for rally style driving, but I will actualy be on a sealed track more often at this time.

So what cams? They need to be cheap, so regrinds I guess, probably need to be exchange? I can sort the shims out myself.

Sean Malory siad not go get regrinds because the extra height in the shin can cause the baucket to tilt or something, but I'm not sure about that. Max lift would be good, but rewelds cost alot more right? And billet ones cost too much?
