Just wondering if anyone with an FE can tell me where there temp gauge usually sits during cruising or in traffic. My gfs car runs at the bottom of the temp gauge when cruising and in traffic I still don't think it gets over a 1/4ter.
My GE runs pretty warm even in winter (around 1/2 way on temp gauge), can creep up to almost 2/3 at which point the thermo fan kicks in and brings temp back down to about 1/2. I even tried without thermostat and it was the same. (What I'm getting at is that the engine still got to normal operating temp without the thermostat fitted).
Is this normal for a 4AFE (In auto AE92 seca) to run this cold, or should I be chacking the thermostat.
