New to the list but not new to 3T-GTEU (9 years of fun) and NO I'm not that Bill Sherwood but the other older one!
I'm after a set of forged pistons for my engine and am investigating the VW route but will probably stay with custom ones if the price is right. Can anyone offer names/web sites in Oz where I can make enquiries please? I want to raise CR to about 8.5 and make the ring lands a bit bigger at the same time if possible. So far only Special Piston Service (Vic)is the only one I know of that will do the above for AUD1200 incl GST. I'm in Perth.
Boost from my 420hp GT2532 will be around 20psi, intercooled and big squirters already, Wolf3D management. No dyno yet but 13.2 ET on 14psi and street tyres.
