fitting charcoal canister to ra23

Hey just wondering.. i've got a charcoal canister off a rodeo. I've connected it up to the vacuum from the engine, but i'm not sure where to connect the other line on the fuel tank. Is it just the small pipe comming out of the fuel tank at the top. The two on the right (looking from the boot) go to the pump and surge tank etc. But there's one to the left/centre that's blocked off which i think is what i want but i'm not sure.
I'm also just fitting an unleaded filler neck.
Would all this work with the factory fuel cap? someone told me it probably wouldn't because of the pressure or something.
