ae86 : diff clunking in the rain

hey,
I have an ae86, w/ F-series hilux diff, new custom tailshaft, std gb, every now and then upon initial acceleration and when i back off sometimes there is something making a clunk, but this only happens when the roads are wet. strange i thought, ive checked the mounts and they all seem to be tight, and im hoping it isnt the diff saying, i'm fucked, does anyone have any ideas?any possibilities would be helpful thanks.
