offset is the same, but wheels dont fit?

hi guys.
ive bought some 15" wheels for my ae82 corolla, the offset and PCD is the same for both wheels, however the new wheels are 195, and the old wheels are 185. ive currently had the 14" stock wheels on my car, and succesfully swapped the front wheels with the new ones. they fit fine.
my problem is with the back wheels. when i tried to put these wheels on, the wheels rub against the stock shock absorber on the back wheels? id say my wheels are too wide, but there must be some way to get around this?
surely other must have had this problem?
any suggestions/ideas/solution would be veyr welcomed!
