Speed sensor, what does it do? Sat, 07 August 2004 02:27 Go to previous message
What is the job of the speed sensor?

Is it there purely to control the speed cut, or does it have another purpose?

Mine hasn't been plugged into anything since the conversion and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what will happen if i a) remove it b) find a place to plug it in.

Here is a wiring diagram for it, the pink wire runs back to the ECU speed sensor pin.
