Audio Install (Celica 1997) Mon, 06 September 2004 08:09
okies im looking to do a celica 1997 model audio install.

ok sounds easy enough - however wut about the spare tyre which juts into the boot room and makes a sub impossible to fit...unless you custom box it.

even if i take the spare tyre out the mat above it is moulded into the shape.

i still want the spare tyre in there though...

so here's my options 1- get a custom box -> dont really wanna do that.

2- my friend had an idea that i get some perspex and put it over the top of the wheel allowing me to put my subs in below.

first of all is it perspex that is the clear kinda glassy lookin stuff you see on installs? How hard is it to get? Where from? How much? etc.

secondaly has any1 done this before and have any pointers? also wut are some ways that if i do fit it, the perspex wont rattle?

and finally has any1 done this before and has any ideas to avoid wut i consider my only two options. cheers
