EASTERN CREEK INTERNATIONAL KARTING RACEWAY

Have you ever wondered what the bodily strain would be like in a racecar in an endurance race like Bathurst???
Do u think that you could drive a Kart for 15 minutes flat out ??? “Yes maybe” Well Lets find out…. “I recon that the average punter will be in pain after 10 minutes”
The challenge is on and this event is going to give the ultimate bragging rights to the winners. 3 hours of drivers changes, collisions, fuel stops, people going off to laugh at and overtaking moves that would scare Mark Webber…. ad’s up to a great fun afternoon and the adrenaline of motor racing in karts that will get up to 95kph on the Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway.
TEAM WITH THE MOST LAPS COMPLETED WITHIN 3 HOUR WINDOW IS THE OVERALL WINNER. EVERY LAP OF EVERY KART IN THE RACE IS TIMED BY ONE OF THE BEST TIMING SYSTEMS AVAILABLE.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WHICH TEAMS ARE GOING FASTER AND CALCULATE WHAT SORT OF LAP TIMES YOU HAVE TO DO TO CATCH UP. THE ONLY PRIZES ARE BRAGGING RIGHTS
Minimum number of teams 10
Number of drivers per team has to be 5
Compulsory Driver changes every 15 minutes
All helmet and safety gear is supplied.
YOUR TEAM NOMINATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE FRIDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER AT 12.00 NOON, AND EACH TEAM MUST HAVE A NOMINATED TEAM MANAGER.
You don’t need a racing licence; you don’t need to be a driving expert…
You do need a sense of humour, patience, and an empty bladder…
Costs;
Each Kart costs $585.00 for the 3-hour event. Given the fact that there are 5 members in each team, the individual cost is going to be $117.00 per person inclusive of GST for the entire event. There is also a compulsory 5-minute practise session for each driver, which is an extra $12.00 per person.
Further information will be available as it comes to hand, although I need to get an idea of how many teams are going to be nominated before I put down the $500.00 out of my own pocket.
Yehhhh it is a few dollars, but I believe will be great fun. Further we will be staging the event mid afternoon, so a cruise afterwards could be in the cards.
