DIY Check Engine Light
Sun, 26 September 2004 23:52
Hi all.
I have shoe-horned a 1G-GZE into my RA23. I want to check for any error codes the ECU may be throwing up.
Using the diagnostic port do I:
1. Put a 12v globe in line with the 'W' port and then run the wire to earth ?
2. Bridge E1 and TE1 (or is it TE2?) and 'short' the ECU?
3. Count the flashes and then post up here again to ask what they mean ?
Thanks for your advice.
Cheers,
Mitch.
