SYDNEY CONVOY! It has begun! Now with evan more reason to go. DEPARTURE DATE/TIME: Friday 10th of December (10/12/04) Time = 6:00am. :: Get there at 6:00am. We'll be waiting for everyone to turn up and not leaving anyone behind. However We must depart before 6:30am. DESTINATION, ETA -Melbourne for: Largest gathering of AE86s in Australia's history & The Full-lock Drift Meet (Banzai Battle Crazy #1) @ Calder Park. (12/12/04) -ETA: Anywhere from 12-16hrs after departure. DEPARTURE FROM: -Homebush Bay (Olympic site) P6 Carpark/Zone. ROUTE: Route #1 on the way to Melbourne. Route #2 is an option on the way back. Decision will be made whilst down there. #1. PRINCES HWY Info: THE Coastal Drive - Distance: 1057.62km Time: 23.00hrs (my estimates would say 15-16hrs max) #2. HUME HWY/SNOW MTNS HWY/OMEO HWY Info: Hume Hwy until just abit before Canberra, then we take a detour through the Snowy Mountains! (inview of kosciusko) then back onto the hume further north. Distance: 1018.34km Time: 17.58hrs (realistically Id say 14-15hrs max) Pink = Way down. Green = Way up. :: Or if there is a general feeling of just wanting to get home on the way back then we'll just follow the hume all the way home. But a detour to the mountains does sound tempting. It'll keep the group together and you can have your say aswell as just generally talking crap for entertainment.
