Anthony55 Occasional Poster Location: Canberra Registered: October 2004	Hilux 22R to 22r-e or better Thu, 21 October 2004 05:48 Hi Guys I have a 91 Hilux 2.4 carby Petrol and its slow and guzzles fuel. I want to swap it for something a bit better. I was thinking of a 22r-e if I can find one or a 22r-te mainly cos I know they fit and won't be too much work. But I would like a nice twin cam 20valve engine if it fits. So my questions is A)does any one Know where to get a 22r-e or 22r-te motor with ecu loom etc. B) what other motor will fix into a hilux with minimal effort. I.e. engine mounts flywheel/bellhousing to gearbox Thanks for your time Anthony. [Report message to a moderator]
