Just thought I'd share an experience I had yesterday. I had to dump a load of slate tiles at the local builders waste dump. When i got down there, the rain had had a predictable effect on the tip face, muddy, very soft. I swung around and backed the ute in, no probs. However, there was a guy in a series 1 Tarago who had just finished uloading his crap and he was parked a ninety degrees from me as I backed in. So he's finished, he hops in the Tarago and goes to drive off. No dice, because it's wet and they've layed all this bark chip down to stabilise the mud, he gets stuck. The rear wheel with all the drive wont climb the rut that he's parked across. So he sits there WHIZZZZZZZZZ....WHIZZZZZZZ....WHIZZZZZ spinning the wheel trying to rock it over the rut. Honestly he tried about ten or fifteen times. I am just watching as I shovel out my ute. If he'd got out of the van I would have lent him my shovel and he could've dug the top of the furrow out and driven away, even if he'd jammed a chunk of wood (plentiful) under it but no....WHIZZZZ......WHIZZZZZ......BANG!!!! He rips the sidewall on the tyre!!! So finally, the dozer driver takes some notice of him and organises a tow....with a D9 bulldozer!!!!! When I left, the idiot was attempting to change the wheel using a scissor jack on the soft muddy ground. Why are people so stupid??
